Responsibilities:
- Oversees Business Administrative Operations department including Accounting & Administrative Operations; recruits, hires, and trains staff; conducts performance evaluations; handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Provides accounting and general administrative operational leadership in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and other department Directors.
- Oversees the financial planning and budget management functions of the organization by coordinating with operational department Directors to create and execute budgets; assists in implementation, evaluation, forecasting, and creation of cost controls to achieve financial objectives.
- Manages all aspects of accounting, including but not limited to cash management, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger reconciliation, tax audit and compliance, monthly close, financial statements, and various special analyses.
- Manages Business Administrative Operations department audit and internal control processes; develops, reviews, and conducts quality controls, as required.
- Coordinates and manages relationship with external financial entities and vendors on behalf of the company; ensures appropriate legal review of financial contracts and solicits external legal advice, as required.
- Collaborates with company leadership and other operational department managers to produce smoother accounting efficiencies and workflow; leads coordination and integration of efforts for all areas of responsibility.
- Oversees the corporate business insurance policies including renewal process; ensures appropriate coverage is always maintained as business needs change.
- Ensures departmental work environments are adequate and safe.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to organize and prioritize tasks including delegation of tasks when appropriate.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and best practices for accounting and general business administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; Master’s degree preferred.
- Progressively responsible accounting experience with minimum of 2 years’ in a senior level finance or accounting position required; CPA, preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principles, and financial analysis.
- Must pass a background and credit check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
